All parts of LAND are marked with a cairn (height 1 m). The cairns have a frame of stainless acid resistant steel and built-in tanks of PE-plastic. The tanks are equipped with a transparent lid of polycarbonate, tightened with rubber strips. In the tanks there is a manual and other equipment. Apart from this the configuration and size of the cairns will be modified according to the sites and their requirements.

N55
Solo show
N55 Art as Social Design – N55 live and work together in Copenhague. N55 began work in 1994 as a twelve-member collective, taking their name from an abbreviation of the house number and street name in Copenhagen where they were based. The four current members, Ingvil Aarbakke, Jon Sørvin, Rikke Luther and Cecilia Wendt, are now living in the floating N55 Spaceframe in Copenhagen harbour. Their earlier work developed new methods for a variety of ingrained social conventions; growing food without access to land or soil with the Home and Modular Hydroponic Units; reconfiguring our washing regime in the Hygiene System; and collectivising the act of cooking in the Kitchen. Recent output has undergone an extension into developing new systems of collectivity, cooperation and self-governance in the form of ROOMS, LAND, WORK and SOCIETY. All of which assert the role of open-access and the denial of ownership.
The show at Kunsthalle St. Gallen includes all major work groups as LAND, SNAIL SHELL SYSTEM, YTEICOS, PUBLIC THINGS, ROOMS.
