The first solo exhibition of the New York artist Aura Rosenberg in Europe attracts great attention. She fills the Kunsthalle with overpainted excerpts from porn magazines. Through the miniature, gold-framed pictures, the artist forces the exhibition visitors* into voyeuristic, sometimes unpleasant proximity. The large stone installations with body fragments are then taken over by the Salzburger Kunstverein for the exhibition «RealSex».

Aura Rosenberg (*1949, New York/US) lives and works in New York and Berlin. As a painter, photographer, sculptor and video artist, her diverse artistic practice focuses on sexuality, gender roles, childhood and history, with the question of authenticity playing a central role.
