airline is the name of the artist group from Basel, whose crew consists of 9 women and men. Anyone who connects with their work becomes a passenger. Travelling with airline means gliding through the supposedly everyday with awakened senses in order to experience the familiar in a new way.

The label airline stands for the experience of quality of life. The interest is in people and the space that surrounds them. How does a space feel? Which stories does it tell, which ones does it conceal? airline focuses on certain aspects of perception, sets accents and allows the self-evident to become the starting point of an exploratory journey.

airline focuses on togetherness. On the interaction of people with different characteristics and abilities, whose potential only really comes to fruition in the right composition and complementation; networks, links, connections, connections also to the environment and to nature.

Together, the crew members cut willows and reeds at various places around Lake Constance, peeled copper wires from old cables and fetched sheep's wool from the farmer's wife. From these and other natural materials such as hemp, hazel rods and wheat starch, airline builds an atmospheric space, walk-in constructions, cosy "nests" and sounding objects. A sensual landscape that can be felt and smelled. Drawings complement her world of thoughts and invite visitors on this journey, which leads past exciting forms and strong metaphors, to "warmth-producing worlds". Worlds that combine the utopian with the archaic and are sure to leave no one cold.
