KILLYOURPHONE.COM is an open workshop format. Under the instruction of the German conceptual and media artist Aram Bartholl and with the help of the team of the Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen participants are invited to make their own signal blocking phone pouch. While in the pouch a phone cannot send or receive any signals and is cut off from the net. During the workshop, the artist also talks about his work and the omnipresence of surveillance.
The workshop II is free of charge; registration at info@k9000.ch Subsequent to the workshop there is an artist talk at 4.30 p.m. with Carmen Weisskopf and Domagoj Smoljo of !Mediengruppe Bitnik, Aram Bartholl, Carolin Wiedemann (sociologist, University of Hamburg) and Giovanni Carmine.
The two events, workshop and artist talk, take place under the title «Here, but Invisible».
