Peep-Hole is an exhibition space in Milan which once a year invites an institution as its guest. Peep-Hole likes Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen and thus chose it for the 4th edition of «Six ways to Sunday». The task: to realise an exhibition such as we would show it in St. Gallen.
For the project we invited Swiss artist Kilian Rüthemann who will produce – as the title «Fit» promises – two site specific new works in Milan. In addition special guest Sitterwerk shows an insight into its library and material archive. Our concern is thus not only to present good art but also to reflect on the venue since Peep-Hole is located in the premises of Fonderia Battaglia, a historic art foundry (just like Sitterwerk in St. Gallen).
This project is made possible through the generous support of BSI.
