On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Helvetia Art Prize (formerly Nationale Suisse Art Prize), Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen is presenting a group exhibition of Swiss artists in which prizewinners from previous years will play a leading role. The exhibition takes the anniversary as an opportunity to address topics such as the risky choice of an artistic career or forms of art promotion for the youngest generation, but also to shed light on the cooperation between private sponsors, schools and art institutions. A programme of performances, discussions and collaborations – including with the off-space Sonnenstube, which will realise an exhibition in the exhibition – rounds off the project and contributes to creating a picture of today's Swiss art scene.
The exhibition is supported by Helvetia Insurance Switzerland.
