The exhibition «Ambarabà Ciccì Coccò» by Alfredo Aceto (*1991 in Turin/IT) and Denis Savary (*1981 in Granges-près-Marnand/CH) combines two artistic practices that twist existing forms or imagine new ones across forms and media. In their first collaboration, Alfredo Aceto and Denis Savary create a fragmentary installation for the Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen, in which different layers of cultural signs are brought together and mixed. They are particularly interested in the various conventions of exhibiting, such as display, light and space conditions. Through the deliberate placement of sculptures and objects by the individual artist as well as jointly produced works, not only are questions of authorship rethought, but also boundaries between personal and collective frames of reference are tested.
Alfredo Aceto (*1991, Turin/IT) lives and works in Lausanne/CH.
Denis Savary (*1981, Granges-près-Marnand/CH) lives and works in Genf/CH.
